Optymalne kształtowanie modelu łuku o osi ściśliwej
In order to present the characteristic features of the optimization of an arc with compressible axis the arc has been replaced by a bar system of four degrees of freedom. Various forms of the lack of stability have been obtained (snap, bifurcation) by investigation of the frequency of small linear vibrations imposed on nonlinear static deflection of the system. The optimization of the form of the system has been formulated and solved such that for conserved constant volume the maximum of the critical force or that of the vibration frequency is assured. It has been proved that for certain geometrical parameters of the model a single modal formulation of the optimization problem is unsufficient.
