The finite element method is applied to solution of laminated thick plates with a high-order theory of plate deformation. In order to derive the equilibrium equations of elements the theory of constrained bodies has been applied. The mechanics of such bodies was formulated by Cz. Woźniak. Paper describes stiffness matrices for isoparametric elements.
