Zastosowanie temperatury sprzężonej z odkształceniami do oceny dysypacji energii i wyznaczania granic plastyczności

Zdzisław Gabryszewski, Wiesław Śródka

We discus an effect of coupling between strain and temperature fields occurring in adiabatic processes taking into account the energy dissipation resulting from the irreversible processes. The usefulness was shown and a possibility of the application of the effect for an experimental determination of yield surface in isotropic linear elastic bodies we to yield limit. The results of our experiments concerning temperature changes for tension, compression and torsion of plastic (steel) and semi brittle bodies (grey cast iron) were given. The relations between the changes of temperature and the work of irreversible strains were obtained. In the result in a medium of the grey cast iron type, in the case of irreversible processes, a complete energy dissipation occurs while for media of steel type, there correspond the relations from the diagrams: plastic work-change of temperature, and strain-stress. Data were presented demonstrating the influence of slacken strains occurring in semibrittle media due to changes of temperature.
