Zależność maksymalnej siły uderzenia od współczynnika restytucji

The determination of the maximum contact force during an inelastic impact can be done only experimentally and a complicated gauge as well as a device registering the variation of the force in time is needed. The theoretical analysis presented in this paper leads to algebraic relations between the impact force and the magnitudes which can easily be measured during the impact, such as the after-impact velocity, the restitution coefficient and the impact duration. The application of the derived formulae is shown on two numerical examples.
