Dynamics of elastic bodies in terms of plane frictional motion

In the paper a general approch to dynamics of flexible systems in which displacements are resolved into displacements due to deformation and displacements due to rigid body motion, will be applied. A contact problem of bodies resting on frictional foundation and being in plane motion is stated and qualitatively discussed.
