Creep with rupture analysis of transversely heterogeneous circular plates
A theoretical analysis of non-linear viscoelastic plates with transverse heterogeneity is presented. Brittle creep rupture processes are described by steady-state creep theory coupled with the Kachanov-Rabotnov damage law. The solutions are based on parametrization of the bending moments. Two numerical examples illustrate the creep and the brittle creep rapture of an annular plate with different kinds of transverse heterogeneity.
