Optimizatian of streamline configuration for axi-symmetrical nose was carried out for three hypotesis of flow repulsion. The function which goverus the problem has been constructed for snbsonic, supersonic and hipersonic flows in a single generalized form. The solution of streamline for minimun drag also is given in a generalized form. Next, a method of determining the optimal elongation of the nose has been proposed for of the flows, when the fricting drag, is decisive.
