Sur une conception de la mécanique des milieux dénombrables

The paper contains a concept of mechanics of countable media, i.e. of material systems which configurations may be determined by means sequences (generalized). After presentation the genesis of the topic and the general assumptions (of the classical deterministic and phenomenological mechanics) the notions of countable medium and configuration space is defined. Next the basic notions and eąuations of countable media kinematics and dynamics are presented as a generalization of the notions and equations of analytical mechanics of the systems of finite number degrees of freedom. Some important problems are also discussed. Two examples of classes of countable media close the considerations.
