Zagadnienie równoważnej amplitudy naprężeń w ocenie trwałości zmęczeniowej elementów konstrukcyjnych

The method of calculation of equivalent, sinusoidal stress amplitude, adequate for random stress taking into cosideration fatigue life, has been presented. It has been proved, that existing methods based on Palmgren-Miner's hypothesis are disappointing for unlimited life scale. The idea of constant fatigue damage lines, based on analysis of fatigue phenomenona in metals, has been used for this scale. The theoretical considerations have been illustrated by enclosed analysis of fatigue experimental results.
