Analiza stateczności pryzmatycznych łuków o osi odkształcalnej

The stability problem of a prismatic curved rod in which an extensibility of an rod axis and a bending state are taken into account, is discussed. The linear vibrations are imposed on the deformed state in order to analyse the buckling problem either by a bifurcation or by a snap-through aprouch. Appropriate results for a circular arch under external pressure are provided.
