Analiza konstrukcji prętowo-tarczowych metodą elementów skończonych

The way of calculating any rod-shield construction by the finite element method is shown in the paper. The rigidity matrix of the rod-shield construction elements of a rectangular and triangular shape with three degrees of freedom is given. In a rod-shield element any shape of the rod cross-section may be applied. The rigidity matrix of a rectangular shield and of a four bars frame is also given in the paper. The PRTA programme was writen in the FORTRAN 1900 language and was tested on the ODRA 1300 computer. The paper is illustrated with an example.
