The title problem has been discussed in the case of plane strain and Huber-Mises yield criterion without friction or material hardening taken into account. The solution has been obtained by the method of characteristics. As an example we consider a particular case for the wedge angle 60 deg. The slip-lines networks, selected indentations have been presented.
