The aim of the present work is to derive some technical theories of torsion of prismatic rods on the basis of the theory of bodies with internal constraints [1]. We obtain general theory of torsion based on the assumption that the projections of rod's cross-sections on the plane normal to the axis rod is rigid and theory of thin-walled rods with open cross-sections, based on well known Vlasov's assumption.
