Analiza możliwości przystosowania się pewnego typu osiowo-symetrycznej konstrukcji powłokowej poprzez lokalną utratę stateczności jej powierzchni

The behaviour of axisymmetrical shells after buckling is considered. It is proved that local loss of stability of some structures does not reduce their carrying capacity i.e. shells can adaptate themselves to the new work conditions. It means that the large displacements connected with buckling establish themselves after some time and do not manifest tendency to increase. The analysis is based only on investigations of some average membrane state depeijding on the change of the shell geometry.
