Wpływ zastosowania kondensacji kroplowej w pojedynczym dwufazowym na współczynnik przenikania ciepła przez ściankę skraplacza
The concept of applying the dropwise condensation instead of the filmwise one in thermosiphons used for heating of liquids has been outlined in this paper. A great increase of the overall heat transfer coefficient across the wall of the condenser of the thermosiphon may be obtained due to a very high heat transfer coefficient of the dropwise condensation. The greater is the turbulence of the heated liquid, the greater will be the overall heat transfer coefficient. It enables us to decrease the dimensions of the condenser of the thermosiphon.
