Pewnych możliwościach zastosowania tarcz ściskanych w badaniach materiałowych

A simple method enabling to determine the material constants of plastics has been given. The discussion refers to an elastic material while the elastic-visco-elastic analogy can be employed in order to determine the creep function. An elastic disc compressed by two rigid plates serves as a model for discussion. The changes of diameters of that disc and of a hollow disc have been determined. To obtain material constants, increase of the diameter perpendicular to the direction of loading has been considered in both cases. In order to verify the method, tests have been performed on specimens made of metaplex.
